The association is suffering difficult condition.
Cases of dog tortured are never stop, including hurt by rubber band, animal traps, and car accidences. Moreover, dogs in the association shelter also need money for medical treatment and neuter or spay.
This huge expense has caused stress and struck volunteers’ confidence.

“Can we bear this all?”
“Should we give up?”
Whenever thinking of this huge expense, everyone has no idea for the next step. Some people take dogs or cats to animal hospitals without follow-up care and supports and only expect the association will take all heavy burden and responsibility. The association’s rescue car and computers have been fixed again and again. Hundreds of dogs always wait there for food. And mistreatment cases need to be investigated by the association which also keeps fighting for stray animals’ living rights in Kaohsiung even whole Taiwan.
Actually, the association only prays for little support from any of you and hopes everyone could understand us more. The association would really like to do anything for stray animals. However, a budget is a serious problem needs to face. We strive for dogs’ medical treatment fee which costs hundreds of thousands dollars each month, and that only relies on charity bazaar.
The association here begs everyone to provide your supports!
All money you donate must all pay for poor dogs and cats’ needs. We don’t have fantastic equipments for rescue actions, but we do believe in hearts and effort could reach all goals. Your donations and good wills must be used for the most effective results.
Please try to understand and believe us. You must feel what we feel about those crises and difficulties that the association is suffering.
There are more than 600 dogs and cats in the association shelter. Due to short of manpower, we only open about 100 dogs and cats for sponsor (Please see the sponsor area). However, sometimes only 1/3 of dogs and cats in the sponsor area really receive donations or regular donations reduce to half. Such these crises bring the association a predicament. Especially, when the office was forced to move, more expense would be needed, such as rent, decoration fee, water and electricity fees. The association suffered really difficult time.
Dogs and cats those strayed in a city jungle in the past now only beg for basic food supply and living right in the future. And this small hope needs money to carry out.For avoiding from running out of food supply, we really need your continuous donations and food providing for those poor kids.
No donation, they would not receive medical care.
No donation, they would not have food supply.
No donation, they would lose citadel to keep out wind and rain. No donation, they could not last their life anymore.
