The Kaohsiung Concern Stray Animal Association was formed and accredited by Civic Organization Law, as a non-profit charity, to care and fight for the living rights of stray animals and to assist those poor lives suffering from injury, sickness, chase, and roaming the streets in Kaohsiung city because of owners’ abandonment and people’s mistreatment, and therefore to help government for putting Animal Protection Law into effect.
Missions
1. Assists government to setup a proper animal refuge center
2. Sets Animal Protection Law and other related decrees into action
3. Popularizes works of neutering and spaying stray animals to avoid over reproduction and to cost down for government
4. Encourages stray animal adoption
5. Communicates correct concepts of owning a pet
